The race is over, and I managed to get round without expiring on the way! It was baking hot, and the course was a rugged one, and there was a point when I thought I wouldn't get round, when my knee swelled up to balloon size! But with the encouragement of my mate Maria, and the thought of the shame of failure, I kept going, got past the pain barrier and finished at a run!

We managed to complete the run in just over an hour.. not bad going considering!

This is now my final total, and will be doubled by my company making a massive
