In previous years Jane has raised money for Cancer Research by running in the Race for Life - but now it has all become a little more personal. As you know, Jane was diagnosed with bowel cancer earlier this year, so unfortunately she won't be able to run this summer. Instead a few of Jane's friends, work colleagues and grateful students will on her behalf attempt to RUN the Race for Life.
This is a 5K run, around York race course. Don't worry if you cannot take part there are other ways in which you can contribute!
Any donation, large or small will go towards Cancer Research's efforts to find a cure for cancer
