We're back....
The Racingredd Girlies are back, for the third year running, to raise more money for Cancer Research UK & help more people beat cancer. Of course we can't do this entirely on our own - we need your support too! So please dig deep and sponsor us online.
This year we are doing it in memory of Norma Willcoxson who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly earlier this year. Although cancer was not the cause, Norma was part of the Racingredd Girlie team last year when we did Race For Life at Peterborough. She was a great friend to many, always making people laugh with her "naughty corner" antics and Georges squeeky ball, always at the most inappropriate of times. She is very much missed, but never forgotten. And as a tribute to her Vicki and Betsy will be doing it 3-legged as we know it would have made her laugh.
Unfortunately almost everyone can name at least one person they know thats been affected by cancer, whether it be a relative, a friend, a neighbour or a colleague. Some of these people will have won their battle, others sadly will have lost it, some will still be fighting. Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer.
