Last year we attempted the Race for Life for the first time. We half walked, half ran the 5km circuit of Prospect Park in Reading, in an impressive 50 minutes. We raised a staggering £710 (just £90 short of our rather ambitious £800 target), and we are still very grateful to everyone who supported us in 2008.

Now we need you to do it again!!!

We've set a more modest target this year, of just £400. And we promise to beat our time from last year!

Our sob stories haven't changed much since last year - although I am very pleased to be able to report that my Granny is still very much with us and fighting her cancer.

Post Race Update!

Thanks to all of you for your donations so far. We ran the race this afternoon in 40 minutes! Thats a whole 10 minutes faster than last year!
