This is the first time I've taken part in the Race for Life and indeed the first time I've run anywhere further than the bus stop so I'm really hoping to do well.
As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer. Nearly everyone has some experience of cancer, be it a personal one or a friend or family member. so this is an event that touches us all. I am hoping to try and make a difference and would love you to join me.
